I still don't want to medically transition, but to both provide myself with something the government will recognise as transition and to make a point, I'm thinking of changing my name one day.
I know that I will change my first name to Henry. Jayne will be changed to James. But I have no idea what to change Margaret to, and my surname does not follow James well. I would like to keep the same initial but can't find a name beginning with M that I like. Any suggestions?

Marcus too, but it won't work with my surname.
It doesn't really matter now, it's just something I would like to get straight in my head. I don't think boyfriend likes the idea of calling me Henry full time but I do know that he's trying to be comfortable about it. I know he's using using words at the moment without really thinking about it. Hurts on one hand and on the other it's part of habit forming, he'll get there.
