Small joys
May. 9th, 2009 10:12 amI peed standing up.
I got to shake at the end of it.
And all for less than 40p. About 6 months ago I bought the smallest and cheaply priced plastic funnel that I could. My hunt for something I could adapt into an STP device had been fruitless until I figured that maybe I could adapt a funnel. So I bought this little one and planned to change it. 6 months later I still had done nothing with it and the time of days spent in the woods are about on us. If there's any time it's annoying not being able to stand and pee it's when you're outside and there's no toilet. So last night I gave up and decided to try the funnel without adaptation last night in the shower. It seemed to work. Tried it again this morning, at the toilet. It worked. Haven't tried without having my trousers round my ankles, but doesn't change that I peed whilst standing up.
It will need adapting to make it more transportable. But whilst in our woods (and our bathroom), I can now pee standing up. Although I must admit that it didn't really hit me until afterwards because I was concentrating on my aim.
Oh and on the job front: references have been taken up and I have another interview on monday. This is good no? Job will mean I can afford to shop for some more boy clothes, plus a binder and new less feminine glasses. Right, time to pack for the woods.
