Letter from the Laurels
Jan. 8th, 2011 04:50 pmIn short:
Blah blah, sorry we've not been able to offer you an appointment yet. Your PCT has moved the goal posts and all new referrals much have an independent psych assesment to approve for funding before treatment. Therefore, no appointment yet.
Blah blah, we've had to find a new independent psych blah blah. We hope to be able to give you an appointment within the next couple of months. Once we have the psych report we can apply for your funding for you to start assessment for your treatment.
Sorry this has caused a delay to your initial appointment blah blah blah. Blah blah. Blah.
The plus side: something is happening with my referral and I now have proper contact details so I can change my address with them.
So why does it feel like a kick in the teeth?
