Quick look back
Jan. 2nd, 2011 01:22 pmOne year ago I felt like a crazy person for being trans.
Two years ago almost no one knew I felt in any way trans.
In the last year I have come out to my friends, my sisters, I came to the realisation that transition was finally a when and not an in, I have seen my GP and been referred to the local clinic, and I have started to regularly attend a localish support group. I have bought a binder and decided that I hate them. I've cut my hair short and most of my clothes come from either the teenage boy or the mens section.
The people around me are still coming to terms with this change, but most of them have only known within the last year. I am looking forward to where I will be within my transition in another year's time.
