I find myself . . .
Oct. 4th, 2009 05:07 pmlooking at joining a gym. I am a lazy person by nature, this is not really me. But taking an honest look at myself in the mirror makes me realise that it won't be my face or my bust nor my height that will give my assigned sex away if I try and pass - it'll be my bodyshape. I know there's limited I can do with it without hormones, but I can work on toning what is there, building up my shoulders etc etc.
So the next few planned stages in pre-transition are:
Get hair cut.
Get fitter, and better shaped (make my hips give me away less).
Get a binder.
Make sure I do get my package made.
So my action plan is:
Book hair appointment. Must phone to see if there's still space for me to get hair cut saturday.
Find a gym and join.
Buy new trainers (I am a walking shoe kind of man, I don't own trainers) and new sports bras.
Combine working out at gym with practising yoga at home. This will help to stretch and lengthen the growing muscles, making them more flexible and combined well with exercise that builds muscle.
I think I know which binder I want, but I am waiting until after christmas now.
